BiographyHistory

'Michael Cooke is a retired public servant who has a life-long interest in South Asian history, religion, politics and culture. He is the author of biography, Rebellion, Repression and the Struggle for Justice in Sri Lanka: The Lionel Bopage Story, published in 2011. In 2014 he published Christianity, Islam and Atheism: Reflections on Religion, Society and Politics. He is also the resident film reviewer for Sydney-based Doryanthes.'
