A story from a painting by Alice Napururrlu/Nangala Nelson. The story was told to Alice by her father, Charlie Jakamarra Limbiari, at Alekarenge in 1987.

  • * Alice Napururrlu/Nangala Nelson, a former Aboriginal Assistant teacher in the Barkly region of the N.T., is currently undertaking language courses at CALL (Centre for Australian Languages & Linguistics) at Batchelor College in preparation for teaching Warlpiri literacy in her Homeland Centre School, in the Barkly.
