Curator, Una Rey had completed her studies in Fine Art at The Northern Territory University, Darwin in 1995. For serveral years she had worked for Aboriginal owned community art centres in Central Australia, the Top End, and in galleries in Darwin. In 2009, Rey had completed her PhD in Newcastle, and teaches Art History and Theory at the University of Newcastle as well as working as an independent arts writer, researcher and curator.
