AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A warm urban love story set in Bellini's Cafe - the busiest cafe in the middle of the city. It is the story of Enzo Bellini who has a serious heart condition and whose dying wish is to see his heartbroken daughter Sofia happy again. Enzo has not many lattes left in him and he will go to any length to find the right man for his daughter. Who Loves Me? is a modern, contemporary musical about love, coffee, the stock market, and the the seductive power of the Mambo (Origin Theatrical website).

The characters in the musical are: Sofia (heartbroken 32 year old, home to work in her father's cafe), Enzo (her father and owner of Bellini's Cafe), Michael (Bellini's 35 year-old barista who is secretly in love with Sofia), Carmela (a waitress who watches over Sofia and Madeleine), Madeleine (the feisty passionate actress in her late twenties), Curtis (an engaging but depressed romantic stockbroker in love with Madeleine), Sydney (another stockbroker who is in love with Sofia), 'Snort' (a 19 year-od, stockbroker who is in love with the older Carmela), Julia (a reporter), Miss Monica (the dangerously sexy Latin dance teacher in her 40s), Larry Van De Mere (the tired, uninspired chain smoking Latin dance teacher).
