The Huffington Post is an online news aggregator and blog that established in the United States of America in 2005 by Arianna Huffington, Kenneth Lerer, Andrew Breitbart, and Jonah Peretti. It offers news, satire, blogs, and original content and covers politics, business, entertainment, environment, technology, popular media, lifestyle, culture, comedy, healthy living, women's interests, and local news.
The Huffington Post launched its first international edition, HuffPost Canada in 2011. A UK edition was also launched that same year. Since then international editions have been published in French, Spanish, Italian (all 2012) and Arabic (2015), while a number of individual countries have set up operations - notably Japan (2013), Germany, Brazil (both 2014), India, Greece and Australia (2015).
