BiographyHistory

English-born author, Margery Williams moved with her mother and sister to the USA in 1890 following the death of her father. At age nineteen Williams returned to England and began her career as a professional writer, working primarily in the field of children's books. Her best known work was The Velveteen Rabbit (1922).
