— Appears in: Contemporary Foreign Literature , no. 2 2023; (p. 55-61)
'A.S. Partridge’s debut novel "Black Rock and White City" He won the Miles Franklin Award for his work on the survival of contemporary Melbourne’s diaspora. This article takes multiculturalism as the research perspective, focuses on the real situation, existential ambiguity and disillusionment of the Australian diaspora, explores the survival dilemma of subcultural groups under the essential thinking of multiculturalism "maintaining white social and cultural differences", and examines the novel's contribution to the Australian diaspora. The purpose of speaking out about the living conditions of Asian Americans. "Black Rocks and White Cities" is an ambiguous modern description of the survival plight of diaspora ethnic groups, which reflects the falseness and absurdity of Australia's multiculturalism and shows that its road to multicultural integration has a long way to go.' 1 澳大利亚“丛林神话”与“劳森神话”论析 An Analysis of "Jungle Myth" and "Lawson Myth" in Australia Zhang Jiasheng , 2017 single work criticism
— Appears in: 国外文学 , vol. [2017] no. 2 2017; (p. 1-9)

'Australia is a country with a profound jungle tradition. Jungle mythology is an important element in the construction of Australian national identity. This article discusses the Australian jungle tradition from three aspects: the origin and development of Australian jungle myth, the dispute between the city and jungle of the jungle myth, the reality of the jungle and Lawson myth. Studies have shown that Lawson's continuation of Australian "Jungle Myth" and the genius creativity of Lawson's Jungle writing jointly created "Lawson Myth" in the history of Australian literature.'

The Marginal People in Australian Literature in the Nationalist Period : A Study of the Chinese Image in Henry Lawson's Works Zhang Jiasheng , Lin Baoqi , 2017 single work criticism
— Appears in: 外国语言与文化 , vol. [2019] no. 3 2017; (p. 79-88)

1 On Australian Bush Realism Zhang Jiasheng , 2015 single work criticism
— Appears in: Oceanic Literary Studies , no. 2 2015; (p. 220-235)
'At the turning of the century of 20th, Australia saw a great troubling and disturbing period in her history. On the one hand, this period is when Australian nationalism began to boom in face of the economic depression; on the other hand, this period is when Australian native writers began to write about Australian landscapes, characters and bush. Influenced by the national magazine bulletin, the native writers of Australia represented what Australian bush is really about with realism sketches. In this sense, the novels written at the turning of the the 20th century are bush realism novels and this article is to explore deep into what bush realism is and how it came to being under the context of Australian nationalism.' 1 Lawson’s Political Reality and Textual Reality : A Review of City Bushman : Henry Lawson and Australian Imagination 劳森的政治现实与文本现实——评《城市丛林人:亨利·劳森与澳大利亚想象》 Zhang Jiasheng , 2015 single work criticism
— Appears in: Foreign Literature Studies , vol. [2015] no. 3 2015; (p. 171-175)

'As a great research scholar of Henry Lawson, Christopher Lee’s City Bushman: Henry Lawson and Australia Imagination presents us a deep and profound research into the forming process of Lawson’s classic status in Australian literary history from four perspectives with accuracy and academia: "Early Reputation", "Posthumously Memorialisation", "Canonisation", and "Local Use of Celebrity". In addition, this book also illustrates deeply how Lawson has been influencing the development of Australian literature and culture from Lawson’s time to the present. The insightful new study of Henry Lawson’s canonical status is a contribution to the study of Henry Lawson and to the study of Australian Nationalism.
