BiographyHistory

Frank Fisher and his family were removed from the town of Ayr to Barambah Aboriginal Settlement, north-west of Brisbane in 1911. He was living there when the First World War broke out, and he enlisted on 16 August 1917 with the AIF. He was commissioned in the 11th Light Horse Regiment until the end of the war.
