BiographyHistory

Academic and novelist.

Sarah Kanake holds a BA (Hons) and a PhD from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT): the creative component of her PhD dissertation was published in 2016 as the novel Sing Fox to Me, which she wrote as part of an exploration of representations of Down Syndrome and disability in narrative fiction.

Since Februray 2016, she has been a lecturer in Creative Writing in the School of Communication and Creative Industries at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
