Epigraph: German Plans. — Kaiser and Koran.
'The London 'Daily Telegraph's Rome correspondent states that Turkish pirests are preaching the conquest of Egypt, Tunish, Libya, Morocco, Caucasus, and India. They are also, it is stated, proclaiming the Kaiser as a messenger from Mahomet, and that the Kaiser is mentioned in the Koran, in which he is called Mumbul Islam. A great expedition is being organised, the correspondent adds, against Egypt. Preparations have begun in Asia Minor, where German engineers and and officers have arrived. Negotiations are proceeding, aiming at securing the co-operation of Abyssinia.— CABLE MESSAGE.'
