BiographyHistory

'Diwurruwurru: is a First Australians storytellers group, also called the Borroloola Poetry Club, and is located in the Northern Territory's Gulf of Carpentaria. It has produced a chapbook of poetry, collaborated with Lionel Fogarty to produce a film, and appeared at the Northern Territory Writers' Festival. Diwurruwurru is Yanyuwa for message stick and is used with permission from the Traditional Owners.'
