Dr Quinn Eades is a researcher, writer, and award-winning poet whose work lies at the nexus of feminist and queer theories of the body, autobiography, and philosophy. Eades is published nationally and internationally, and is the author of All the Beginnings: A Queer Autobiography of the Body, published by Tantanoola. Eades is a Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Foundation Studies at La Trobe, as well as the founding editor of Australia's only interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, gender, sexuality and diversity studies journal, Writing from Below.
In 2016, he was completing on a psychogeographical history of a body of water near his home in Melbourne. In 2018, he was working on collection of fragments written from the transitioning body, titled Transpositions, and was a Tracey Banivanua Mar Research Fellow. His book Rallying won the Mary Gilmore Award for best debut poetry.
