BiographyHistory

Michael McLean was a former Australian Rules footballer who played both Footscray and Brisbane in the Victorian Football League and Australian Football League. During his career he was a strong anti-racism advocate, and this continued post his career. He was a vital part of the Aboriginal All-Stars match in Darwin, and was also named in the Indigenous Team of the Century. In 2007, McLean was working at Palmerston YMCA in Darwin as a community worker.
