BiographyHistory

Harriet McKnight was a Melbourne-based writer. Raised in Bermagui, she worked as a musician and performer in Melbourne before completing her Bachelor in Creative Writing from RMIT (awarded 2013).

She was managing editor of The Canary Press before relocating to Darwin where she worked on programs with Indigenous communities, assessing risks and effects of gambling. Her debut novel, Rain Birds, was released in 2017.
