Marcus McSorley co-wrote the biography of Reginald "Reg" Spiers with his mother, Julie Mcsorley. Marcus Mcsorley's father (and Julie's husband), John McSorley, had made the wooden box Reg Spiers travelled in from London to Perth in 1964.
