BiographyHistory

Author of children's books.

Based on the north coast of NSW, Louise runs workshops at the Byron Writers Festival, the Queensland Writers Centre, and the Australian Writers Centre, as well as being a Chief Storyteller for Byron Writers Festival's 'Storyboard' project, which runs literacy and creativity programs throughout northern NSW schools.

Two of her works, Too Busy Sleeping and Archie and the Bear, have been named Children's Book Council of Australia Notable Books (in 2016 and 2018 respectively).
