'After the death of their parents two sisters continue to run an old fashioned haberdashery store in Beachtown. When a property developer proposes a modern shopping complex in the town a row of older buildings will face the wrecking ball. The sisters' shop and home are essential for the plan to come to fruition. A generous offer is made, however, it threatens the relationship between the sisters.
