BiographyHistory

Tiger Palpatja was born in the bust atthe Pitati rockhole in the north-west of South Australia. He lived a traditional lifestyle before moving to Pukatja, or known as Ernabella Presbyterian Mission, where he learnt to speak English and became proficient in sheep farming. He began painting in 2004, in his mid-eighties.
