BiographyHistory

Joseph Roe was one of the best known and respected leaders of the Goolarabooloo group in the Kimberley, Western Australia. He was the grandson of Paddy Roe. Joseph Roe was an active campaigner in the protection against the gas factory at James Price Point by Woodside Petroleum, which has the world's largest humpback whale nursery and the largest dinosaur footprint and traditional burial and ceremonial sites.
