BiographyHistory

Gabriela Cabral was born in Uruguay. She migrated to Australia with her family in the 1970s and completed her secondary education in NSW. Cabral has been a singer, actor, theatre workshop facilitator, arts manager, voice over artist and multicultural arts officer. She appeared in the Sidetrack Theatre production 'Adios Cha Cha' and in 'Mal de Ojo', performed at the Redfern venue of PACT Youth Theatre. She has also worked with larger organisations such as the Sydney Opera House and SBS radio. In 2015 she was a board member with ArtSound FM in Canberra. [Source: ArtSound FM website]
