'It is a fantastic story of the history of the universe stretching back a million years or so before the earth and its sister planets were formed, and moving on millions of years into the future, to the time when the earth ends its existence' ('National Broadcast Features', Huon and Derwent Times, 5 May 1938, p.2).

Notes

  • A number of contemporary newspapers noted that the length (75 minutes) was unusual, since ABC radio dramas were usually capped at 60 minutes.

      Eight Australian authors will be represented in the Broadcasting Commission's Radio Drama Week, which will be opened at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday by the Federal Controller of productions, Mr F. D. Clewlow...' ('Broadcasting,' p. 9).

      Tonight (Sunday)... the Australian Broadcasting Commission's second Australian Radio Drama Week will be launched by the Commission's Federal Controller of Production (Mr. P. D. Clewlow).... Every night next week national programme number one will feature an Australian radlo play ('Radio Drama Week,' p. 22).
