David Thomas Henry Wright has a Masters from The University of Edinburgh and has lectured at China’s top University Tsinghua where he developed courses in Creative Writing and Australian Literature. His PhD was awarded by Murdoch University in 2018, with a dissertation entitled 'Prose Fiction in the Current Millennium: Reading and Writing Italo Calvino’s Six Memos'.
In 2015, his short story 'Khola’s Infinite Amount of Hope in the Universe' was placed second in the Tabor Adelaide Creative Writing Awards. In 2018, his Little Emperor Syndrome (with Chris Arnold) won for the Queensland Literary Award (Digital Literature Award).
