AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Little is known of the plot of this radio play, but contemporary newspapers note that it was 'Taking its inspiration from the popular melody of the same name', a song that had first been sung and recorded in 1933. The song is sung from the perspective of a woman yearning for a missing lover.
