Description

Screen writing is a vital and exciting area for Indigenous writers, resulting in cultural stories and historical perspectives having an impact on the broader Australian society and international audience. In this advanced, practice-based unit students critically analyse Indigenous short films and scripts, with an in-depth focus on how these films can impact on the broader Australian film industry and audiences. Students will develop advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of writing for screen, by developing their own ten minutes film script, through several drafts that integrate professional standard critique.
