'Lord Langley, seeking to discover whether heredity is stronger than environment, turns his wealth over to his cousin and goes penniless into the world questing for adventure. His wanderings take him to an hotel on the English water-front and finally to sea in his own yacht. With him go Alice Bolton, a barmaid, and her lover, a prize-fighter. Lord Langley finds a little too much adventure when he falls In love with the dainty Alice under the eyes of prize fighter. A storm, which isolates these three ill-assorted characters from the world, is the background for this tempestuous triangle.'
