Elizabeth Jane Corbett worked as a librarian, a teacher of Welsh at the Melbourne Celtic Club, and a writer of reviews and articles for the Historical Novel Society.
Before her death, Corbett was working on a second historical novel, written from the point of view of Margret, wife of Owain Glyn Dŵr, the last Welsh Prince of Wales.
She died in Corris, Wales, in early 2020.
