'Though primarily designed as entertainment for the children, those who are young enough to believe in fairies, will find delight in the adventures of 'The Prickly Pair,' 'The King of the the Blue Mountains,' 'The Bearded Dragon,' 'The Bunyip,' 'Matilda, the Witch,' 'The Magic Boomerang,' 'The Scrub Baby,' and 'The Flower Folk,' to mention just a few of the Australian fairy characters that David and Dawn, two adventurous Australian children, encounter during their rambles in the bush.'

  • The second of three serials starring David, Dawn, and radio personality George Edwards.

    David and Dawn with George Edwards under the Southern Cross appears to have begun airing in mid-October 1936, immediately after the succession of its predecessor, David and Dawn with George Edwards in Fairyland, and to have ceased in September 1937, when it was followed by David and Dawn with George Edwards and the Sea Fairies.
