'Data from various European sources are considered to examine the origin and spread of Aboriginal Pidgin English in Queensland. It is concluded that Aboriginal Pidgin English in Queensland evolved from New South Wales Pidgin English and developed variedly due to different social and economical conditions in different parts of the state.'
