Stage debut
Originally performed at the Discovery Theatre (Eastern Hill) on 19 April 1928, along with two other plays said to be by Australian writers: The Prisoner by Vance Palmer and Youth by Colin Tapley (better known as an actor and who, by other accounts, was born in Dunedin, New Zealand).
Cast members: Murielle Thurgood (Cynthia), Colin Tapley (Gerald), Maisie Middleton (Moira), and W.B. Weston Hearne (Weldon).

Technique was broadcast on radio in early November 1932, in conjunction with another Handley play, The Mystery of Manfred Moon:

The radio version was performed by the Little Theatre Company, a Melbourne-based repertory company.
