The Logan and Albert Bulletin was a newspaper published in Southport, Queensland from 1885 to 1928. It was originally established in 1885 under the masthead the Southern Queensland Bulletin. First printed and edited by P.J. McNamara in 1885, and after several changes of ownership, the paper was brought by James Shepherd in 1895, who changed the masthead to The Logan and Albert Bulletin.
From 1905 The Logan and Albert Bulletin flourished as an established newspaper with a large circulation. During the period from 1905 to 1963 the paper was sold several times, and its masthead was changed four times. In 1928 the newspaper became a tabloid and was call The South Coast Bulletin, and in 1963 it became the Gold Coast Bulletin. (Source: Wikipedia website)
