BiographyHistory

Melbourne-based writer. Educated at the University of Melbourne, Pacat lived in a number of places, including Tokyo and Perugia, before returning to Melbourne. She is best known for her Captive Prince fantasy trilogy, but is also the author of the graphic novel series Fence, set among the competitive fencing squad at an elite boys' school.

In July 2019, it was announced that Allen and Unwin had acquired the rights to a new trilogy, set in an alternate London, beginning with the novel Dark Rise (September 2021).
