Elana Benjamin is an Australian-Jewish writer of Indian-Iraqi heritage. She holds an Arts/Law degree with a history major from the University of New South Wales. She lives in Sydney. Her articles have been published in Good Weekend, Sunday Life and The Sydney Morning Herald.
Her autobiography, My Mother's Spice Cupboard: A journey from Baghdad to Bombay to Bondi was published in 2012.
