  • Author's note: This suite of poems I composed in the last months of 2010 while living in a tin shed on the banks of Lake Tinaroo in the Atherton Tablelands, North Queensland, Australia. Lake Tinaroo is an artificial lake. When the valley was flooded in1953 an entire town was submerged. The name of this town was Kulara.
