'The plays of acclaimed Australian playwright Joanna Murray-Smith have been performed around the world, including on Broadway in New York and by the Royal National Theatre in London. Her latest play, Switzerland, features the fascinatingly complex and real-life character of American novelist Patricia Highsmith. We asked Joanna to put down her playwright's pen for a few moments and tell us about the books she loves.' (Introduction)
