BiographyHistory

W. Otho Hewett was an artist and illustrator. During World War I he served in the AIF at Gallipoli and later in Egypt and Palestine. He became well known for his illustrations and cartoons which appeared in The Anzac Book, and in the army magazine, the Kia-Ora Coo-ee.
