BiographyHistory

G. Nichols was a bookseller and stationer in Melbourne during the 19th century. G. Nichols was initially located opposite the Western Market, Collins Street. The business moved to various other Collins St addresses until 1861 when it moved to the corner of Elizabeth and Bourke Streets, on the 'opposite corner to post office'.
