BiographyHistory

A.A. James was a journalist and Queensland MLA. During World War I he worked at the Brisbane Truth. He held the seat of Logan for the Labor Party in the period 1918-1920. Although he opposed conscription, James volunteered for military service in 1918, and served as a mechanic with the Australian Flying Corps.
