BiographyHistory

Edward Robert Bulwer Lytton, the first earl of Lytton, was viceroy of India and a poet. Some of his poems, usually under his pseudonym 'Owen Meredith', were published in Australian colonial newspapers and magazines in the nineteenth century.

Lytton is the son of Edward Bulwer Lytton (1803-1873).
