'The scene is laid in a lonely part of the Cornish coast. Several lightkeepers meet their death in a mysterious manner, and the place assumes a bad reputation. One of the best lightkeepers in the service is sent to the station, and he, being a cheerful soul, refuses to be frightened by peculiar happenings. Strange and mysterious incidents take place, but the new lightkeeper holds to his task and eventually succeeds in running a desperate criminal to earth.'
