A returned soldier, wounded out of the war, tells the story of his revenge against a women who had been handing out white feathers to unenlisted men.

Notes

  • The 'white feather/red feather' theme which features in this work appears to have had a wide circulation during World War I. It also features in the recruiting story 'One of the Anzacs', which was published under various titles in the Australian newspapers during 1916.
