  • Subject indexing is based on the first two instalments (chapters one to four).

  • Chapters one and two of Roger Townley appear in the February 1838 issue of the Australian Magazine and chapters three and four in the March 1838 issue. The work was 'to be continued' but the cessation of the Magazine after the March issue meant that no further chapters were published.

    AustLit has not yet established the author of the work or whether further chapters exist in print or manuscript.
