  • Editor's note: During the recent Christmas holidays, a party of Melbourne ladies and gentlemen went up to the Fern Tree Gully picnicing. An incident which transpired in connection with their sleeping arrangements, at the prettily-situated hotel kept by Mr. Dickson, was thus chronicled by one of the party, impromptu.
