Steampunk note: Featured in an anthology of steampunk romance fiction. Set in a secondary world, the focus is on magic: each inhabitant of the world has an affinity with a particular element. But one protagonist, whose affinity (a rare one) is for metal creates magnificent automatons, as well as medical devices and prosthetics, including his own clockwork heart.
