Dr Christine Regan's academic background is in literary studies. She was awarded a PhD from the School of Cultural Inquiry at the Australia National University in 2012. Regan was formerly a research fellow at AIATSIS, working on BlackWords. In 2017, she was a visiting fellow at the Australian National University.
In addition to work listed on AustLit, she has published extensively on British poet Tony Harrison, including the monograph The Rimbaud of Leeds: The Political Character of Tony Harrison’s Poetry (New York: Cambria Press, 2016), as well as book chapters and journal articles.
