BiographyHistory

Benjamin John Fuller and John Jnr Fullerexpanded their New Zealand vaudeville operations into Australia in 1912 by purchasing James Brennan's National Amphitheatres Ltd. At that time Brennan's circuit comprised the National Amphitheatre (Sydney) and the Gaiety Theatre (Melbourne). He had also established the firm in other capital cities with Brennan's Entertainers. The first Brennan-Fuller advertisements were published on 15 April. The firm continued to operate under that name until the Fullers re-organised their operations as John Fuller and Sons Ltd (aka Fullers' Theatres).
