  • AustLit has not yet established which version of this play was produced in Sydney in 1838. It may have been a version of the operatic farce entitled The Illustrious Stranger; or, Married and Buried (1827) by James Kenney with J. Millingen, music by [Isaac?] Nathan.
  • Married and Buried is included in AustLit because it was produced in Australian theatres during the colonial era.
