BiographyHistory

Gustavo Martín worked in Chile for a number of government departments prior to the 1973 coup. In Australia he has worked in manufacturing, as a construction labourer, and as a bus driver. He is the author of several works on Chilean history and politics. He was a journalist for Vistazo, the first Spanish language magazine in Australia. His brother, Sergio Martín, was the editor of Vistazo.
