The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser's response to the correspondence to the editor of the Australian newspaper written by John Lazar and published in Sydney, New South Wales newspapers. The correspondence is in reply to the column 'Theatrical Mismanagement' published in the Sydney Gazette on 12 July 1838. Included in the Gazette's response is a republication of Lazar's correspondence to the Australian .
