Untitled, single work column

A brief column reporting on Andrew Bent's intention of establishing a newspaper in Sydney, New South Wales. Andrew Bent did not leave Tasmania for Sydney until 26 February 1839. On 13 April 1839 he began publishing Bent's News and New South Wales Advertiser in Sydney. Bent sold the newspaper in August 1839 to William Duncan,Trustee Proprietor, and it became the Australasian Chronicle edited by Duncan. Andrew Bent printed and published the Chronicle until March 1840.

Advertisement for a performance at the Royal Victoria Theatre, Sydney on 5 July 1838 of 'Coleman's Comedy, in Five Acts, entitled John Bull' and the 'Laughable Farce, called Advice Gratis. The performance included a song by Mrs [Anne] Clarke entitled 'Macgregor's Gathering'.
