Notes

  • This issue notes on p. 2; 'Next Wednesday Messrs. [Joseph] Simmons and [John] Meredith, having procured a license, intend opening the saloon at the Royal Hotel for the exhibition of performances in the dramatic line. We do not think that this can pay, while the Victoria continues to attract as it does at present.'
